Product Description

Ardex P51 is a versatile primer for porous surfaces, ideal for use before Ardex levelling and smoothing compounds. With a blue pigment for easy identification, it provides up to 160m² coverage per 5kg unit and comes in a convenient re-sealable tub. Dilution rates vary by substrate:

  • Smooth and non-porous surfaces (e.g., concrete, terrazzo): 1 part primer to ½ part water
  • Rough concrete: 1 part primer to 1 part water
  • Power float concrete: 1 part primer to 2 parts water
  • Porous cement screeds: 1 part primer to 5 parts water
  • Smooth calcium sulfate screeds: 1 part primer to 3 parts water
