A thicker 3.5mm wear layer, found on ranges like Artisan and Smaland, can be sanded and refinished multiple times over its life, while thinner wear layers still give a genuine oak surface at a lower price point. Finishes are matt lacquer or natural oil, in oak and other species.
The Woodloc 5S click-locking system and stable multi-layer core make almost all Kahrs collections compatible with underfloor heating, and the range performs well in busy homes and light commercial settings.
